Seattle Pride wouldn't be the same without the hard work of Kelcema Audio! As the exclusive audio provider for the Seattle Pride Parade since 2007, Kelcema Audio is integral to the success of the parade.
With three viewing stands, the Seattle Pride Parade is one of the largest parades in Seattle, with an stimated 400,000 people in attendance in 2015! 4 speaker lifts are deployed at Westlake Park, to cover nearly three contiguous blocks with audio. An additional 3 lifts are stationed at the 4th & Bell Viewing Stand, with additional speakers in the beer garden there. Finally, a truss and lift structure will again be positioned at 4th & Denny, providing a great way to cap the parade route just before the participants disembark and join the festivities at Seattle Center for PrideFest.
JBL branded speakers are used exclusively at the Seattle Pride Parade, including VRX932 constant curvature array and AR4892 Array-Series speakers. All speakers will be powered by Crown Audio amplifiers. Consoles in 2016 will include a Yamaha LS9-16 at Westlake Park and Mackie 1402VLZ3s at the 4th & Bell and 4th & Denny viewing stands. Sennheiser wireless microphones are in use on all three viewing stands. Finally, Westlake Park will also benefit from EAW LA212 monitor speakers with QSC PLX3402 amplifiers.
