Summer 2016 Event Photos

It's been a fun summer! June was capped off with the 2016 Seattle Pride weekend, where we again delivered awesome sound all weekend. In July, we returned to the North Bend Block Party, provided outfill speakers for the 2016 Oregon Country Jamboree, and brought power generation and distribution for StrutzFest 2016. August started off with our inaugural year with the Soulful Giving Foundation Blanket Concert, where we provided staff, main sound system and power generation!

If you need sound, lighting, video or power distribution for your upcoming event, please Contact Us Today to discuss your needs!

Another new client for us this year, we provided the main stage sound system, power via our MQ Power WhisperWatt 45kW diesel generator, and three technicians for the day. Using 1-Ton CM Lodestar chain motors, we flew 6 boxes of JBL VerTec 4888 3-way line array speakers per side, along with 6 JBL SRX728S dual-18" subwoofers ground stacked. JBL STX812M monitor wedges and VRX 932LA-1 front fill speakers, all powered by Crown I-Tech amplification, completed the sound system. Founder Junki Yoshida and Board President Linda Yoshida were both heard to exclaim that this was "the best it had ever sounded" and we've already been asked to place the 2017 Soulful Giving concert on our calendar for August 5th, 2017!

A local Portland band, Stone In Love delivered an amazing performance and was a great way to headline the show!  Our JBL VerTec 4888 speaker system at the 2016 Soulful Giving Foundation Blanket Concert. We suspended these speakers using our brand new pair of 1-Ton single phase electric chain motors.

By positioning the monitor console there, our technicians can best interact with the musicians to ensure they're getting what they need in their wedges!  Local Foreigner tribute band Jukebox Heroes performing at Soulful Giving. They delivered a great performance, and the crowd really enjoyed it. Along with the main sound system, we provided our JBL STX812M monitor wedges on stage for the band. Our first time providing for Soulful Giving, we have already been invited back for 2017!

Using our two new CM Entertainment Lodestar 1-Ton electric chain motors, we flew 6 boxes of JBL VerTec VT4888 speakers per side. 3 JBL SRX728S dual-18" subwoofers complemented the sound on each side of the stage. Just behind the subs are the Kelcema Audio Crown I-Tech HD amplifier racks driving the entire system. Local band Radical Revolution is performing on the stage, presenting a variety of 80s hits. Soulful Giving Foundation Board President Linda Yoshida commented that this was "an amazing sounding system!" as she asked us to reserve next year's show date for them!

Seattle PrideFest DJ Stage

June 26th, 2016
DJ Stage at Seattle PrideFest 2016
Our BEST YEAR EVER! Seattle PrideFest was heads-and-tails better this year then it had ever previously been! To improve the sound coverage, we elected to fly 4 boxes of JBL VerTec VT4888 per side using 1-Ton electric chain motors. By getting the speakers up into the air, the audio coverage was a lot smoother then had been in previous years. We continued to deploy 6 JBL SRX728S dual-18" subwoofers under the stage- the bass was quite evident even outside of the Seattle Center property! Shown here is the DJ mix table on stage; our JBL VRX932LAP/918SP combination continue to provide "Texas Headphones" for the DJ booth monitoring. New this year was an LED video wall, provided by our friends at Pyramid Staging & Events. If you have an event that requires an LED video wall along side our audio services, give us a call for a great deal!

Returning for our 10th year working with Seattle's PrideFest, we stepped up the production this year! We deployed the same 4-bx per side JBL VerTec VT4888 system as we have done the past two years, but this year we used 1-Ton chain motors to fly the speakers from the stage roof. By getting the main PA up in the air, our coverage and overall sound quality was greatly improved! We also used 2 JBL VRX932LAP for front fills as well as 6 JBL STX812M monitor wedges.

DJ Stage and crowd enjoying the music, Seattle PrideFest, June 26th, 2016
Our 10th year working with Seattle's PrideFest. We flew 8 boxes of JBL VerTec VT4888 speakers from the client-provided StageLine SL100 Mobile Stage. Along with 6 JBL SRX728S dual-18" subwoofers tucked under the stage, this year's show sounded amazing, with plenty of compliments from the production team and the DJs/performance artists working on our stage! From where this picture was taken, over 200' from the stage, the bass still had a LOT of power!
